Small Steps to Sustainability | Social Media Animations
On Earth Day 2018, I created a series of illustrations and animation loops to share some quick tips on how to become more environmentally aware. The goal was taking a more colorful approach in addressing these serious issues, so it is more encouraging and receptive.

THE PROCESS
Initial sketches.
Sketched out and jotted down notes based on personal habit changes and recent news I heard about the banning of plastic utensils in nearby cities.
ETHOS AWARD
This project was selected for the Spotlight Award for ETHOS 2018, a Design Annual celebrating creativity, community, and design in Orange County, USA.
12x12 GALLERY SHOW
This illustration series was also shown at the 12x12 group exhibit at Gallery Workwell in Irvine, California. 25% of the proceeds were donated to Pacific Marine Mammal Center.
