EcoFarm is an annual conference advancing just and ecological farming and food systems across the United States. Through storytelling (anchored by the From Soil To Soul pilot episode), we facilitated a 50-people workshop with small-group visioning, where participants moved beyond dialogue into action.

The Resilience and Resistance: Cross-Pollinating Food Movements Conference brings together food systems leaders, farmers, academics, and advocates to tackle pressing environmental, economic, and health challenges. Our session, Reimagine the Future of Food Sovereignty, provides attendees with creative frameworks to rethink their role in food system transformations. By centering lived experiences and fostering participatory dialogue, we empower participants to cultivate a regenerative mindset to not only envisions food sovereignty, but works toward implementing it.
Climate Marketing Workshop Series

A hands-on creative session where we explore The Urban Farmers' Almanac, a guide for sustainable living in Los Angeles, then dive into an interactive workshop where participants collaborate with their peers to design and prototype a localized sustainability guide for their neighborhood. This was part of West Los Angeles College CA Center for Climate Change Education’s Climate Marketing Workshop Series.

I co-hosted the “I ♥️ My City: How to Create a Sustainability Guide for Your City” workshop along with my Climate Designers chapter co-leads and urban planner Jamie Hwang, to inspire and equip designers, organizers, and advocates with the tools to build a sustainability guide for their cities or neighborhoods.

Between Waves is an immersive art exhibition celebrating the beauty, biodiversity, and urgency of conservation. We presented From Soil to Soul’s pilot episode, “Food Justice in LA”, spotlighting community-led food sovereignty efforts in Los Angeles, followed by a dynamic panel of BIPOC leaders on establishing food sovereignty based in New York.

I was a panelist on the Climate Communications panel discussion along with other climate leaders such as Thomas Yount (founder of Clean Earth Future and Climate Cooldown) and Arya Natarajan (writer & illustrator, Seastarya).
Climate Designers Tokyo: From Soil To Soul

I presented our film and shared the story of how our team started this documentary series, and why it’s important to keep the food justice and food sovereignty movement going. We met with local designers and community members interested in the topic of building equitable food systems, and learned from the community about local regenerative efforts, traditions, and innovation in Japan’s food and agriculture.
